A surge in Labour support has caused the gap between the Greens and the Conservatives to reduce to 3%.

The Green Party has retained its lead for the sixth week in a row. Its support did not increase this week, but stayed at the same level of 43% as last week.

Our fifth poll has returned another clear victory for the Greens, as they increase their percentage by one, but their lead extends. The party is holding their Spring Conference this weekend, so it will be interesting to see if any policies directed at young people will make an appearance.

In the fourth week of our poll, the Greens have continued to retain their lead at a strong level of 9% ahead of the Conservative Party in second place. The increase in vote could show that Natalie Bennett’s “excruciating” interview this week did not put student voters off.
