Police have released images of two men believed to have information about the sexual assault of a woman in Selly Oak earlier this year.

The student, 19, was making her way home in a taxi when two men attacked her. West Midlands Police believe that the men (pictured) had contact with the victim and her two attackers shortly before the assault.

Although two men have been arrested and charged in connection with the crime, the police are hoping that the two men pictured may be able to provide more information to assist the investigation.

West Midlands Police urge anyone with information to contact the sexual offences team of the Public Protection Unit in Aston by calling 101. Alternatively, witnesses can provide information anonymously via Crimestoppers.

The police are also requesting that Facebook users share their post to help increase awareness of their appeal.
